Senior BJP leader and former Union Minister Shri Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi today said here that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has become “Torch Bearer” of peace, progress, prosperity, harmony and tolerance for the entire world. While addressing “Samajik Samrasta Sammelan”, organised by Bhartiya Baudh Sangh in New Delhi on the occasion of Maharshi Valmiki Jayanti, Shri Naqvi said that where it was Corona challenges or Russia-Ukraine war, the entire world is today looking at Shri Modi as a “Trouble Shooter”.

Shri Naqvi said that leaders of the powerful and developed countries have hailed Shri Modi’s development initiatives in digital payments, sanitation, vaccination drive, women empowerment etc. Shri Naqvi said that India has become an ideal of social harmony, tolerance, brotherhood for the entire world. While on one hand, the believers of almost all religions of the world live in India; on the other hand, a large number of atheists also exist in the country with equal constitutional and social rights. This strength of “Unity in Diversity” makes India “Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat”.

Shri Naqvi said that some evil elements are involved in conspiracy to disturb and harm the fabric of social harmony. But the people of the country have always defeated such nefarious elements by the strength of “Unity in Diversity”. Shri Naqvi said that despite of all such conspiracies, India’s culture, traditions and the Constitution has not allowed the thread of "Unity in Diversity" to get weaken in any circumstances. Many obstacles came in the way of inclusive development, but our strength of “Unity in Diversity” has ensured the country moved forward on the path of prosperity. Bhartiya Baudh Sangh national president Bhante Sanghpriya Rahul, various religious leaders and other prominent people from education, social, cultural, health and other sectors were present on the occasion.
